At 22.48 m2, The Steidz presents the exhibition SWEAT DREAMS, which brings together seven artists born between the late 1980s and the early 2000s. The exhibition is based on the emergence of dreamlike images within the domestic space, which is both an intimate refuge and an enclosed space, open to the multiple natures of dreams - surrealist, erotic, abstract - and revealing possible lurking threats.

 

Some say they never do, while others say they're a regular nocturnal rendezvous. Therein lies the versatility: universal acts, objects of fascination since the earliest civilisations that tried to decipher them, dreams escape all command, control and reason. The only logic lies in the fact that they occur during the night, the time-space in which sleep occurs when the body abandons its verticality in favour of elongation.
