José Angelino, Alessandro Dandini de Sylva, Marco Emmanuele, Luca Grechi and Diego Miguel Mirabella are five artists linked by a shared experience: that of ‘Paese Fortuna’, a collective space for artistic production and research founded in Rome.

Located within the former Lanificio Luciani in the Pietralata neighbourhood, Paese Fortuna is part of the tradition of independent spaces which, in Rome as elsewhere, become venues for experimentation, dialogue and the development of a collective artistic vision. More than just a studio, it represents a working environment where artistic practices converge, nourish one another and evolve through daily interaction.

The exhibition, curated by Marco Emmanuele, brings together five distinct artistic trajectories which, without seeking a common aesthetic, reveal the subtle connections born of this collective experience. The works on display — ranging from sculpture, painting and photography to drawing and installation — bear witness to explorations that interrogate matter, the living world, memory, landscape and forms of representation.

PAESE FORTUNA thus offers a journey through a vibrant contemporary Roman scene, in which the studio becomes a space for dialogue and where creation is built as much in the solitude of the creative act as in the relationship with others.

Marking the first presentation in France of this group of artists brought together through the Paese Fortuna project, the exhibition highlights an artistic community founded on exchange, the autonomy of artistic practices, and the belief that creativity can also emerge from a shared territory.

During the same period, 22,48 m2 is also presenting BOUGIES DE BERGER, a solo exhibition by Marco Emmanuele.
