Jerome BOCCIA, who is French-Italian, began his artistic career at the Venice School of Fine Arts, studying new technologies for the arts. In 2019, after specialising in film studies and audiovisual production at Falmouth University in the UK, he moved to Paris. He enrolled for a master's degree in research at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS), where he continued his interest in art and the philosophical questions it raises. His research will focus on a phenomenology of the natural landscape. In 2022, he decided to return to artistic creation by joining the Ecole supérieure d'art de Liège. There he began a period of creative painting that drew on his research in Paris. Since then, he has lived and worked between Lille and Dunkerque in the Hauts-de-France region, with the Fructôse association - where his studio is located.
