Born in 1982, Pauline Bastard studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Sorbonne and New York Universities. Her practice is built around various social structures, which she questions by reproducing them in collective experiences. Being a person, being part of a family, working together, gathering around grand narratives: these re-enacted situations produce images, films and objects. Her work can be found in several public collections. She has been teaching since 2007 (Sorbonne, ESAAA, ENSBA).
